WoS education sector: Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) 2018
The WoS education sector follows a needs-based approach to programming through the identification of populations in need within the framework of the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) and relying on the education severity scale to ensure outreach to the most disadvantaged population groups, including in hard-to-reach and besieged areas, down to sub-district, community and neighborhood levels. The severity scale indicators include variables in the three subjects of education access, quality of education and system strengthening.
The WoS education HNO interactive widget, including key figures and severity scale map, is a way to visualize education data with greater speed, efficiency, and better understanding. This Power BI report applies filters and slicers, and the visualizations update as the underlying data changes.
